The World of Origami !

Origami is an art of Paper folding, first originated in Japan. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns preferably without the use of gluing or cutting the paper, and using only one piece of paper. Origami only uses a small number of different folds, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. Here are seven Origami Designs, they are considered to be the toughest designs ever made in origami.
Enjoy, keep blogging! Cheers, Mate :D

Well to be frank your profile name lured me from Sujata's blog to come here. I don't know what I was expecting but it was definitely not Origami...lolz. I enjoyed reading your 1960's movies post. Those are definitely my fave too.

Hopeless Romantic said...

@Sakshi

Firstly, welcome to the blog! Well, you can say i am taking a self conscious break from my "typical blog image". I am looking to share different facets of my personality and my interests. But if you want to see if the lure is justified or not, you need to go through the past posts of last 3 months or so (better use labels on the LHS). Glad you liked something on the blog!

Do come back again! Would love to see u here again!

Regards,
Amit

Origami is given as craft projects in school, and mothers have to go mad searching the net for simple material that tiny hands can make..its beautiful but a little difficult till you get a hang of it.

You know, I tried to take Origami lessons when I was in std.4 . All I learnt is to make a Lotus, which I forgot how to make over time. All I can do now is make a paper boat and an airplane that may or may not fly.

Hopeless Romantic said...

@Ashrita

lol, we all are in the same BOAT i guess now, all of them are too tough for us!

Amit
